This document outlines the fiscal protocols and refund procedures for Luxaviojet, a private jet operator based in Hong Kong. We aim to provide absolute transparency regarding how we handle your funds from the initial reservation until the completion of your journey.

All practices described here are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) and are designed to comply with local commercial standards.

Booking Confirmation

A formal contract between the passenger and Luxaviojet is established the moment a reservation is officially confirmed. While our website allows you to select a flight path and place a temporary hold on a seat, this hold is not a final agreement. The contract effectively begins once you visit our registered office and the full payment is processed.

Upon this confirmation, Luxaviojet allocates specific aviation resources, including crew scheduling and aircraft positioning, to facilitate your trip. Because these resources are dedicated exclusively to your journey, the payment represents a mutual commitment to the flight schedule. At the time of this physical payment, we will provide you with the exact boarding location and the scheduled departure time.

Payment Obligations

To maintain the integrity of our flight schedules and ensure seats are available for all interested travelers, we implement a strict payment timeline.

  • Temporary Hold: After you reserve a spot through our website, your seat is held for exactly 48 hours from the date and time of the online reservation.
  • Completion Requirement: To finalize the process, a passenger must visit our registered office in Hong Kong and provide the full payment in cash.
  • Finality: Until the cash transaction is completed at our office, the reservation remains tentative. Once the payment is received, the seat is fully secured, and the refund scales outlined in the following section become active.

The Refund Scale

We recognize that travel plans can change. To balance flexibility for our passengers with the operational costs of private aviation, we utilize a refund scale based on the timing of your cancellation notice. The amount of funds returned to you decreases as the departure date nears.

  • Cancellations 24 Hours or More Before Departure: If a passenger cancels their reservation at least 24 hours before the scheduled date of the journey, they are eligible for a full refund of the total fees paid.
  • Cancellations on the Day of the Journey: If a passenger decides to cancel their trip on the actual day of the scheduled journey, a deduction of 50% will be applied to the total charges. The remaining 50% will be returned to the individual.
  • No-Show Policy: It is the responsibility of the passenger to be present at the designated location at least 1 hour before the journey for boarding processes. If a passenger fails to show up at the airport, the journey is automatically cancelled. In this specific scenario, no refunds will be issued. Furthermore, the passenger may face restrictions on availing further services from our platform.

Refund Processing and Timelines

When a refund is approved based on the scales mentioned above, Luxaviojet follows a standardized procedure to return your funds.

1. Request for Credentials: After a cancellation is confirmed, we will request the bank credentials of the passenger.

2. Internal Release: We process the release of funds within 24 hours of receiving the cancellation request and the necessary banking details.

3. Bank Reflection: While we release the funds quickly, it may take up to 7 days for the funds to reflect on your individual account. This duration depends entirely on your bank provider and their internal processing protocols.

Failure to Pay

Adhering to the 48-hour payment window is essential for maintaining your reservation. If a passenger fails to visit our office and provide the cash payment within 48 hours of their online reservation, the booking will face an automatic cancellation. The temporary hold will be removed, and the seat will be made available to other travelers without further notice.
